We went to an event tonight at the Little Shop of Stories on the square in Decatur and it was really fun. I had never heard of the Pete the Cat book, but the author and illustrator were there. The author also creates children's music and teaches music lessons at the store. They sang songs about the book as the illustrator drew pictures that went along with the songs.
